HD camera takes a still shot of each license plate as the truck approaches the gate and stores it for future review.
Another camera and a two way communication device are mounted on a custom built bracket with specific height, which would enable a smooth two way communication between the truck driver and a VCMS Security operator, without having the truck driver to leave the safety of his vehicle.
Truck driver proceeds to press a button on a two way communication module, and is greeted by a certified security professional working out of a VCMS monitoring facility.
VCMS uses different methods of verifying the driver (i.e. company employee log, daily itinerary , specific instructions from the company).
Once verified, a still shot of the drivers face is taken and stored on-site, and a server storage off-site, for any future review.
VCMS operator then proceeds to remotely open the automated gate, and allow the truck to enter the property. The truck driver is instructed where to park/back-up/, and to drop off a trailer (rules are again set by the company).
Upon exiting, the above procedure is repeated, and a detailed report is generated and sent in real time to a designated person on the account.
